If you spot a blue-green bus rolling past with unmistakable main character energy, there’s a good chance it’s ROGI.

And yes, that name is very deliberate.

Travel has always been a big part of this family’s life. Long road trips. Wide Australian landscapes. And, for a while there, the daily ritual of setting up and packing down a tent every single night.

With two young kids in tow, that routine eventually lost its shine.

After trialling everything from 4WDs to campervans to motorhomes, they landed on something that felt just right: still adventurous, just with a little less admin.

Enter their newest travel companion — a green Toyota Coaster bus, imported from Japan, sight unseen.

Naturally, it needed a name. The kids had the answer.

They’re fans of Tayo, a Korean cartoon about a group of buses that head out on adventures together. One character stood out — Rogi, the mischievous green bus.

Once the bus was chosen, the name was locked in.

To honour its origins, the bus even wears Japanese style licence plates — making ROGI feel like the real deal.

And ROGI doesn’t go unnoticed.

From curious looks to friendly waves, the bus — and its fitting name — has become a key part of the experience.

These days, mornings aren’t about packing up camp. They’re about getting on the road, chasing the next adventure, and letting their plate tell a story that’s unmistakably theirs.

One vehicle. One name. One of a kind.
